Re: 66 Monza
That's a good looking Monza. Really like the kidney bean wheels with full polish. Great stance.

Re: 66 Monza
That Sniper efi setup sounds interesting. I'm sure many forum members would like details on the install and setup. I see they have a kit for forced induction as well. That could be sweet on a turbo motor. Have you noticed improvements as it "learns" the more you drive it?

Re: 66 Monza
Yes gets better as you drive. Lots of easy adjustments via the hand held computer which I mounted in center arm rest . Drove up and down mountain with and it worked seamless . I’ll do a pros and cons and how to on the forum under another thread

Re: 66 Monza
Beautiful Monza!
I do have one technical recommendation, though. The Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) connections appear to be incorrect. The large tube is properly connected to the air cleaner, but the smaller side tube (fixed orifice) must be connected to the intake manifold to provide the necessary manifold vacuum to scavenge the crankcase piston blowby fumes from the crankcase and run them through the engine intake to be reburned and discarded. Without this the PCV system likely is less-effective than the early-design road draft tube used in 1960-1962 Corvairs, and excessive oil contamination will likely accumulate in your beautiful engine.

Brad is correct on the PCV. It is no longer a PCV at all the way it is now.

Re: 66 Monza
The sniper 2300. I made a temp sensor out of brass fittings with small amount of oil inside. I drilled out and tapped the choke hole at number 5 cylinder. Wrapped in shrink wrap to insulate and it runs at 185degress so it thinks it’s in water cooled engine.
