1960 Engine Poster

Found this out at the swap meet in Canfield, Ohio. It was from a fellow selling posters like this from the 30's & up. Other Corvair stuff but I didn't bring enough cash to buy them all so I picked one.

It's curious there's no upper engine shrouding. While obviously a staged photo, it is further staged by rigging a complete engine without shrouds just to reveal the air cooling fins.

The shrouds are just the packaging lol.. that keep everything cool

That is exactly what the guy in the pricture is thinking. :doh:
