The spring on the trunk lock cover failed yesterday. Anyone know how to remove this to replace the spring? I'm going to order the spring from Clark's, but not sure how to remove and install. Thanks!Corvair Forum mobile app

Re: Trunk Lock Cover spring
There are 5 nuts inside the trunk to remove the grill bar. The spring is right there when you get the whole bar off.

Perfect, I've located the nuts. Appreciate the help! Just waiting for the spring to arrive from Clark's.joelsplace wrote: ↑Tue Aug 25, 2020 5:56 pm There are 5 nuts inside the trunk to remove the grill bar. The spring is right there when you get the whole bar off.
