Solid State Adjustable Rate Flasher
Solid State Adjustable Rate Flasher
$2 and a 2-3 week wait gets you this solid state flasher from Ebay China: https://www.ebay.com/itm/363048563747
Good news: works great in my '67, provides adjustable flash rate.
Bad news: It's silent, no tick-tock sound. That was neat for a bit, but I missed that audio feedback. I added 2 cheap parts to make some sound.

Thanks for supporting U.S. companies - NOT!! Talk about insensitive to folks out or work in the U.S.A.
The NOVITA EL-12 works great and it has an audio turn signal alert. Company is owned by Sylvania and products get good reviews.

Re: Solid State Adjustable Rate Flasher
I used to mod those relays and then made my own for awhile when I needed to fine tune the duty-cycle. I had custom 7-segment sequential LED turn signals on my RS and needed a longer "on" duration compared to "off' to make the sequencing look just right. Fun little projects. I have that same flasher for doing test bench work but never added audio. Now I might have to add that. Thanks.

I'm sure he doesn't have a TV, computer or cell phone either. I'm pretty sure there are none actually made in the USA by a US company.
