I haven’t been able to find answer to the ACC code 5O for a 64. Every site or thread on the topic shows a ? next to 5O. Any ideas or guesses?

In 1962, the only belts listed for the Corvair were fan belts.

In 1963, Seat Belts were not standard equipment, but first appeared as a Regular Production Option [RPO A37].

In 1964, Seat Belts were listed as Regular Equipment (Interior). Custom Deluxe Seat Belts (Retractor Type) [RPO A49], or Seat Belt Delete [RPO A62] were options. Custom Deluxe Seat Belts were also listed as Dealer Installed Accessories.

In 1965, Front Seat Belts continued to be listed as Regular Equipment (Interior). Custom Deluxe Seat Belts (Retractor Type) [RPO A49] continued, but rear seat belts, Custom Deluxe [RPO A47] or Custom [RPO A64] were now listed. A Seat Belt Delete option [RPO A62] remained available. Seat Belts, Custom Deluxe, Custom Rear, and Seat Belt Retractors were listed as Dealer Installed Accessories.

By 1966, Seat Belts — Front and Rear, were Standard Equipment (Interior). Seat Belts, Custom Deluxe Dual (Front and Rear) [RPO A39] were now the only seat belt option. The Seat Belt Delete option had been dropped. Seat Belt Retractors were the only listed Dealer Installed Options.

The above information was obtained from the 1964, 1965 and 1966 Chevrolet-Corvair - GM Heritage Center Specs
