Clarks Package Area Cardboard
I'm test fitting Clarks package area cardboard in my 64 coupe with fold down seat. Does the cardboard screw into the cross piece that goes from side to side? There are 4 holes in it. Instructions don't mention that. Then their instructions say to fold the cardboard below that in toward rear of car to create a space at base of seat back for storage. Is that necessary to do or just let the cardboard run straight down? Doesn't look like there was that storage space on one that I looked at. I'm just trying to figure out where I can or cannot install sound deadening material. Thanks for any help you might provide.

I did a little more research and found a good picture on another forum. The picture is down the page to the red cardboard installation. Here is the linkhttp://corvaircenter.com/phorum/read.php?1,662541

Mine wasn't screwed down but I don't know if that is how they came from the factory. I guess I'm not too much help.
I removed the cardboard, added sound deadening and carpet.
