1966 Monza Bucket Seat Replacement

Post by DeadHorse »

Have the original front seats completely redone. However, I would like to replace them with high back bucket seats. Any idea what type of high back buckets will fit?

67-69 Corvair seats can be used if you make some mounting brackets to adapt them to the floor (the mount bolt positions are not the same as 66. other than that almost any suitably sized seat can be made to fit. In all cases welding up brackets and some modifications will be needed to properly mount them. Procar has a number of bucket seats and also sells adapters that supposedly fit Corvair. I have not tried these so I do not know how well they fit nor what is required to use their adapters. They might be bolt in might not be? I have seen some of them in Corvairs but never asked the owners what was involved. https://procarbyscat.com/
