Powerglide ?
Powerglide ?
What is needed to put s powerglide in a Crown car that currently has a sbc/4 speed set up in it? Just wondering, still not 100% happy with my clutch set up, thinking about alternatives.

Re: Powerglide ?
I would say moving the engine to the front of the car and installing a big car powerglide behind it with a driveshaft back to a live axle from an S-10 or something. There is no way to utilize a Corvair powerglide in a crown setup.
Corvair guy since 1982. I have personally restored at least 20 Vairs, many of them restored ground up.

If you have not seen this, it is a Corvair V8 with a big car PG. Looks well planned out too but needs finishing touches.
