Well, I wanted to wait until I got a chance to check it out.

After the car show, One very Bad lifter CLACKING. I was afraid to even find out why. :banghead:

I postponed as long as I could, and tore into it this weekend. Thinking that the "new" lifters did not like the "old" cam.

Got Lucky, as far as I can tell, one pushrod was not seated in the lifter at initial adjustment.

Pushrod not bent, and rocker arm looked Good.

Wheeewwww,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Consider Myself Lucky !

Wish I could say the same for my 2006 Avalanche. I have kind of gotten used to the ticking.

One more addition, before Winter sets in.......

1st One was sent back to Clark's, chrome pitted, and loose vinyl. This one a "Little" Better.
Console 008 (800x600).jpg
I really like the way it sets in, but I think the Quality could have been Better.
Console 010 (800x600).jpg
Maybe the Summer Sun will make it lie down a little better. :dontknow:

Just put mine in too! Used Clark’s as a model, but tweaked the design to my liking...

Got one from cupholdersplus looks identical to Clark’s. They must be Clark’s supplier. They are vehicle specific. Price was $145. It’s called narrow slim humphugger. Perfect fit in my 65 Corsa. Didn’t check Clark’s for price.
