greenbrier tag please help

im trying to get my corvair registered here in japan and i keep running into problems.
i need an "official looking" print out that explains this tag number,
4R126 S 108776
first they told me they needed proof of the year of the car based on the serial number so i did some looking around the forum and found this http://www.wileenet.com/Corvair/vin_calc.htm i showed it to them and expained to them that the 4 means 1964 but they pointed out that the example shown is different from my number and there is nothing explaining the R or the S.
now they want a complete break down of the number.
if someone could post a link to something "official looking" that i can print out and show them it would sure make my day.

4 = 1964

R126 = Greenbrier Van

S = St. Louis, Missouri

108776 = Production Sequence Number

Your car is a 1964 Greenbrier van.
It was the 8776th Corvair built at St. Louis that year.

had a similar experience with an out of state vair brought to my neck of the woods....I ended up donating a shop manual to the kind & educated fellows at the local-yocal DMV - it may help the next fellow in line
