Just wondering if anyone might have any info on the Corvair powered buggy in the pictures below. From what I gather it was one of six commissioned by Sears to race in the Mexican 1000 in 1969. They were built by Bill Marvin Enterprises/Southwest Racing Equipment of San Antonio, TX and featured orange paint with white and black striping. In 1969 the cars, identified as "trailbreakers" were numbered 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47. In 1970 at least two cars, numbered 173, and 260 entered the race. Specifically seeking info on the drivers of the #44 car from 1969, which has Tommy Davis and Ricky Davis on the roll bar. The #44 car was later set up for circle/dirt/oval track racing. It appears to have spent its early days in Texas. Wondering if anyone has come across one of these, might have any info on them or the drivers, or builders. Both images from Sears tire ads.

Thank you!
