Another nice mid-engine

This is Dave Long's engine, which I rebuilt quit a few years back. It is Reverse rotation with a Porscche type fan. Note the top cover one has to use when going to this arrangement.

Actually, if the top cover sheet metal piece is reworked to invert or turn around the louvers so they are reversed, the normal top cover can be used ...
For a reverse rotation engine..

I was referring mainly to the use of the Porsche fan, but you're correct regarding louver direction.....
