Where the hell do you constantly find this stuff?
I just tripped across a box of original SPRINT brochures...
this should be the UNSAFE media section

Jonathon -- some of the video came from a VHS tape that I bought for a dollar on Ebay.
Several clips came from a Torrent download DVD that I was given.
But actually most of the footage came right from Youtube . The thing is you have to come up with creative searches beyond just searching for "corvair" . Some came from 10 minute videos with titles like 1960 Chevrolet filmstrip part 3 . I will usually scan thru the videos for corvair content and if I find any I will download the vid and then extract the corvair content or sometimes I just extract the audio.
I also check for the latest uploads on Retro Youtube. Did you know Fred and Barney on the Flintstones used to sell beer and cigarettes during the commercials ??? Seems unreal after all the Joe Camel uproar.
It is getting harder to find new content and any leads are welcome !
The pics and text come from many places. I do have a substantial collection of vintage magazines and brochure type stuff.
Most of the photos tho actually come right from the internet and most often right from Ebay.
Some Ebay stores are good sources . An example (I shouldn't tell) is Walter Miller's Autolit. They have about 125,000 listings on any given day. They post most of their pics in a large enough size and good enough definition to save.
They have things from the 1800s thru the 1990s and if you want to waste endless hours looking at cool old car stuff it is the place.
I also search google but I use different search words. An example is "corvair mustang" , "Corvair Valiant" , "Corvair Train" , "Corvair Girl" Etc Etc . This brings up pages beyond what a basic search for just "Corvair" will.
Just adding a letter or a color to "Corvair" will also bring up some unique pages. I average more than a dozen new and unique pics every day. Some are just simple things like factory B&W shots of door panels etc.

Re: My Latest Vintage Corvair Video
Here's an older video that I just reloaded to Youtube.
It features Loren Greene of TVs Bonanza on a paper record that I digitized and mostly ads from 1964 featuring all 5 models.
It's some of my older work and I was still using Windows Movie Maker. Enjoy !

Re: My Latest Vintage Corvair Video
Sorry Kevin, wasn't trying to come off as anal.
Lorne Greene...well he's cool...a "Peter Jennings" (Another Canadian) on Canadian radio in and around WWII. Then the Bonanza and Battlestar Galactica...well it's all neat stuff. I'll happily remember the war/radio/NRC films that I've seen him in (And no, I'm not too old and/or young...but I am proud 8-) )

I knew that ! :D
I didn't realize Lorne was Canadian.
That MMA fighter from Canada (GSP) is exceptional.
I've been to Canada many times and have driven round trips to the lower 48 twice.
Once when I was 19 I did a solo drive in a Datsun 240Z. I drove 3600 miles alone in 4 days.
Then around 1990 I rode a 700 Honda on a similar solo trip starting at Prince Rupert. It was 7000 miles round trip. Glad I did it but wouldn't do it again.
We used to go up to Skagway Ak and then rent a car and drive to Whitehorse all of the time. Your prices are kinda high and that colored Monopoly money took some getting used to but the beer was great !
