Tuning the Corvair Engine - part I

Post by UNSAFE »

Part 1 of Corvair Tune-up. The part about carb adjustment may be helpful to some.

Another great video Kevin. I'm surprised national archives (Or whatever you call them in the US) haven't scooped you up yet.

Cool video!
(I like the intro and outro (is that right?) title screens too. Thanks for the plug!)

yeah , most of the tech filmstrips came in the monthly dealer communication kits. These kits had material for salesmen , mechanics , management , etc. About once a week they would have meetings and view filmstrips . The kits came with several of the pamplets to be handed out to the various groups.

There were wall posters, stickers , desk items , a large booklet and many other items.

So far I have collected 23 pretty much complete kits. Much of it is general material and not all Corvair related.

I have about 16 hours of audio and at least 100 filmstrips.

Some are from Chrysler but have much Corvair content.

I'm still experimenting with PIP objects and titles. I made the video some time back with Windows but added the intro with Cyberlink. I like some things about Corel better tho, they give you 2 title tracks which can really smooth out the title transitions.
