62 coupe for my daughter
62 coupe for my daughter
I may be getting this coupe to build for my daughters first car. She is almost 14 so that gives me two years to get it restored. What do you think?

Re: 62 coupe for my daughter
Sorry, not my Jeep. It belongs to the current owner of the '62 Vair. He took the pics for me.vaporloc wrote:You can see the car is solid and does have potential.. Hey! Could ya post a few picture's of your jeep that is in the garage??/ Especially the interior.. I like those jeeps now.. Thanks
Jeeps are very cool. I like the Rubicons. I keep seeing people off-roading them now too. Not sure what it is but I keep seeing Jeeps everywhere. Like I have Jeep glasses on now.

Excellent project!
The FSJ's (Full Size Jeeps (Wagoneers)) have been very popular in the past few years. Prices have gone up on them quite a lot.
I like my 84 CJ. :) It's seen it's share of wheeling.

Nice car.
Personaly, I would get her a newer car to bang up. Its inevitable, she will be a new driver. Get her a mid mileage 5-10 year old car that is dependable to beat up.

Re: 62 coupe for my daughter
That's nice, Scott. Is it originally a silver car?? BTW, I tried my hand at doing my own body and paint work on one of my cars.....it took a year and a half! I thought my arm was gonna fall off from sanding. The car looks solid tho'.
Re: 62 coupe for my daughter
Yes I think it was originally Silver, he says the original paint is under the primer.
I just got off the phone with the guy who owns this car.
I'm shooting for Thursday to go and pick it up.

Yup can't complain.
My Dad just informed me someone he knows is giving him an EM. Not sure what year it is, I'll post some pics when we get it. These things really do multiply. Yikes, that will make 5 of them for us.

Re: 62 coupe for my daughter
I couldnt get it Thursday . The trailer I was to borrow fell through.
They called me today and I thought, oh no, he's gonna tell me its gone. Nope! he wanted to know if he could deliver it to me tonight!!! WOO HOO!
The car is here!!!
My daughter and son just helped me push it into the backyard. She is sooo excited to have her car here. She is already asking "when can we start working on it"? Daddy's little girl.
I'll post some pics of it later.
