I sandblasted my seat springs

They look great, I want to spray paint with Rust-oleum clean metal primer. It directs me not to paint galvanized metal. Does anyone know if seat springs are galvanized metal? Did sandblasting change anything? Any suggestions on what I should do? Thank You

Powdercoating:) You can paint them with rustoleum or other paint for bare metal.
Corvair guy since 1982. I have personally restored at least 20 Vairs, many of them restored ground up.
Currently working full time repairing Corvairs and restoring old cars.
