Picked up a 60/61 parts and accessorie catalog. Looking through and noticing running changes, some made during 60. For example, 10.261 door assy. plate. nut, 60 has a (1st type) listed, than below 60-61 (2nd type). Than I came across the door assembly. Apparently the very first few cars actually had a different contour just above the beltline. In other words, early 60 doors will not fit on later 60's. it lists the change as "First design parts were used on the first 169 STD. 4dr. vehicles and the first 621 DELUXE 4dr. vehicles.
Just thought it was interesting....

Yes the 60's are very interesting vehicles. Lots of things different that the rest of the years.
