:coolphotos: That is two great pieces of Corvair Art from the Kerry Borgne Collection! The first had a tremendous response on the CORSA Facebook page and I suspect this creation would be popular too!

:coolphotos: I remember driving out to the IECO showroom (on Pico Blvd, I believe) in Santa Monica in 1970 when I was about 17 and picking up one of these catalogs (along with a center-mounted 4 barrel carb manifold). I admired that cover artwork even then!

Ok, here are a couple more pictures I've taken over the past few years that I am particularly fond of. The picture of 'Baby' in front of the Vinsetta Garage was taken a year or so before the garage was sold and then converted into a restaurant..

Isn't "BABY" a '63 Spyder? Why does it have a '64 grill bar in the photos above?

Baby is a 63 1/2?

Does it really matter?

It's one of life's many little mysteries.. The explanation of which is lost to the mists of time......

Interesting side note. when I first saw 'Baby' on eBay it was advertised as a 1964! When I drove down to North Carolina to see her, I even checked to see if it had the leaf spring. I never noticed that it was a 63 until I got home with her and looked at the title. I'm not even sure the seller knew it was a 63. It has 64 trim, drums, engine and transmission, etc etc....
