WOW... Never thought I'd be drooling over a station wagon, but both of those (Especially the White one) are GOR-G-OUS!

I just power-read through all 12 pages... haha

At least I have found out that soon I will be working on a LM Monza but still not sure what year. The car has a little story to it also. Soon I'll make a bigger post when/if I get it to run again since rats got to it and nearly destroyed everything... With that being said, :LMs rule: ::-):

Unsafe I saw you posted this pic. This was for sale on ebay right after I bought my 65. I thought it would be a neat project to bring back to life. Does anyone know what happened to this car?

That looks like a "project" all right. A little massaging on the flanks, unshrouding of the headlights and some resuscitation would breath new life into it.... ::-):

bbodie52 wrote::goodpost: With your passion for Station Wagons, maybe someday you will own a Corvair Lakewood station wagon, like the 1962 Lakewood pictured below. Twenty-eight pictures of the cleanest Lakewood Station Wagon I have ever seen. The underside is almost more beautiful than the topside! This car was for sale in Florida last year. If I had had the money...

I personally prefer the LM for its aesthetically perfect lines but the EM is definitely unique. I wouldn't mind owning both. Nevertheless, if you make me choose between same quality and value EM and LM, I will pick the latter.

I believe there is a certain "un-mined gold" in earlies. They just rarely get done up right. This one looks like it's on the right track! It looks really tough!
