Wow - the score is 26 to 14 for lates ! :burnout:

I'll admit that I'm starting to like the looks of the earlies - but I really like the roof-lines of the lates and especially the rear suspension.

I have only ridden in an early once and that was with Rick Loving on an autocross course.

I did drive Ricks Sprint briefly from the car show back to the hotel but fortunately it was a straight line all the way :neener:

I like the ride and looks of an early .... but I also like to tear up the streets in my late sedan.
If the rear of an early isn't tight.. don't push it. :nono:

LMs...2 reasons. 1: they just look better.
2: fully independent rear suspension.

I fell in love with the lates when I was in the sixth grade. A teacher of mine traded her 61 Chevy for a 66 Corvair. I don't know if she knew why 20 boys would be standing in the parking lot at school to watch her swing those long, gorgeous, luscious legs out of that little car or not. She still had the car when I graduated. I think of her every time I see a late model. I don't know if I'd change my mind if she'd drove an early or not. The car and her both complimented each other so well.
