Lost Parts Found

Post by erco »

I found a missing box o' parts today and had fun going through it. I have no idea what those two shiny fasteners in the first pic are... Anybody?
Then I found my stockpile of NOS Cobra-branded parts from National Lumber (a long-gone SoCal home center): tune-up kits, fuel filter, and some 90-cent distributor caps! Lots of used lifters, pushrod tubes, valves, rockers, & misc. Also several custom tools for CCing cylinder heads and Helicoil kits for head studs and spark plugs. The solid gold find was a pair of 1960 air cleaner to carb hoses. I bought those from racer Tom Keosababian at the 1990 CORSA Convention swap meet. I know those are quite rare... unused, pliable and in fantastic shape, GM P/N still very readable on both. Hard to believe these are 60 years old, same as me! I had a nice '60 coupe for several years but it never needed these. I'll probably Ebay them. Anybody know what they may be worth? I don't see them in Clark's catalog.

I think the Clark's hoses are just some radiator hose that fits. It seems like I saw a part number for them a while back.
