$9 Backup Light Lenses

Post by erco »

Are these 68 or 69 repros? Not original to my '67 but they'll look better than the broken ones I have now, for a while. I paid $27 for two, incl tax & shipping.

Those are '65 backup lenses.
What is wrong with getting the correct reproduction ones from Clark's?

$30 and out of stock anyway. For $9, I can live with '65 lenses on my '67. BTW this same company sells 66-69 lenses for $37... 4X more.

$30 is for NOS which they don't have.
$26.70 for GM approved reproductions that they show to have. OPGI is still way cheaper.

I hope they send the right part. Let us know. The description says it's the gasket. OPGI is bad about having the wrong pictures.

You're right, joelspace. Gaskets only. Grrr... they cancelled the order. Sorry for not noticing that before I posted.

It was a confusing ad. Tail light picture and main description but the title and one line description at the bottom was gasket.
Sorry it didn't work out for you but I'm glad you got it cancelled.

I've bought a few OPGI non-Corvair items, but I find their prices high and avoid them when I can.

For Corvair parts, Clark's is hard to beat and the service is the best. Calif. Corvair and Corvair Ranch are good also.

When I can I support Corvair specific vendors to keep them in business since they have a better selections of parts.

Amen, bruthahs. Actually my local guy Mike's Corvair parts has great prices on used parts.

Hmmm, I'm not getting notifications to replies. Something funky going on here. All the boxes are checked.
