Classic Car Insurance - who do you use.
In the past I've used Grundy's when I had my Mustang we currently have USAA for our cars and they use American Collectors insurance. I'd like to get an if you're using collectors insurance who are you getting it from.

I like you have USAA insurance for my regular autos, I had my Corvair insured with American Collectors. I bought another classic car and was going to insure with American Collectors, but they would not cover it from the date it was purchased, I was very disappointed in dealing with their customer service person. I ended up insuring the purchased car with standard USAA. When the insurance policy on the Corvair expired I also converted it to a regular USAA policy. I know I do not have agreed upon coverage now, but I'm more comfortable with the liability coverage.

Hagerty. They are the most lenient on how you use your car from what I can tell and their rates are good. Their stated value insurance cost me less than State Farm's antique liability only.

Hegarty. Cheap, too. About $200 for the year and that's in Mass where auto insurance is expensive.

That seems really high to me. My '66 Sport Sedan is $16/year with Cherished Salvage that lets me keep the car if it is totaled.
Only gripe I have with them is what they tell you it will cost doesn't have anything to do with the actual price they charge you. Sometimes it is less and sometimes more. It's always a good deal compared to anyone else though.
They told me my '95 G30 would be over $200/yr but they are charging me $54. No gripe there.
They quoted me forty something dollars on my Spyder and it is $141/yr. but I have $17k coverage on it.

Got three with Hagerty. Cannot beat them on price or service.
