All, I figured out a simple cheap Jerry rigged solution. I wrap some single strand copper wire around the socket ground flange and then Fold it back to make contact with the canister or ground. Dirt cheap, Jerry rig yeah.

I know different metals don’t get along. But I’m 65 and it’ll probably outlive me.

I found that corrosion can build up between the steel and aluminum junction that will insulate one from the other. Simply twisting one while holding the other will break this corrosion barrier and the light will work like new.
