Re: Rescuing a wagon in Nevada
It was back and forth between the tow and crane guys, but the tow guys finally took the challenge. It's out! Now to figure out how to get it home. Anyone heading east with room for one more? Any shipper recommendations?

I shipped a 65 Triumph Spitfire to Georgia using Montway & was very satisfied, they picked the car up when they said & it was delivered when they said.

Re: Rescuing a wagon in Nevada
I've seen the Trans-Am station wagon in person at the GM Heritage Center in Detroit. It's not open to the public but the Detroit Area Corvair Club has been given an invitation quite a few times for attendees of their awesome annual "Homecoming" event. ( @gregory_miller I think the Trans-Am station wagon is an extreme example of "it looks better in person", though it's possible that the truth is more that it looks better when you are standing just a couple feet from it rather than from any distance away.)
As for the 2-door Lakewood, not bad. I'd really like it to have coupe length doors but they did a nice job, or is that a photshop? Still have to commit sacrilege and say I like the Type 3 Squareback better, with a Vair engine of course.

The two-door modification was "Photoshopped" (actually using Corel PaintShop Pro 2018). I think I agree that longer doors and folding front seats would be needed.
