I have been into cars since I was a youngster and not wanting to sound stupid, but I have a question about the corvair. What is the rectangular glass bottle that is mounted in the trunk next to the passenger side headlight?

Corvair information
Re: Corvair information
No problem. I get asked about mine at car shows all the time. The bottle is actually triangle shaped and it was a concentrate for making extra windshield wiper fluid. It also was used as gas line de-icer in the super cold winter months. This is on a late model of course but the same bottle was used for all. I think it came with the deluxe wiper option but not 100% sure on that bit of info.

Thank You, I was pretty sure that's what it was, just had to ask. Thanks again.

Re: Corvair information
OK, what color should the fluid be? Some say blue, some say green, some say that it depends on the year, some say either color was used on all years. Does anyone know the real info?
