Clark's EFI

Post by BowTieJohn »

Has anyone used/installed Clark's EFI kit? If so do you like it? Is it worth the expense? Your thoughts....

There are several guys on the other Corvair message board who have installed it. All of the responses are very positive.

Back in 1962 my cousin & I bought 102 HP 4 speed Monza coupes. he got one with a 3:55 posi & mine had 3:27's no posi. He wanted to race so I whipped him bad. He came over some time after that and had put a rochester 450 setup on it & took me for a ride. He smoked both back tires all the way through first gear & left a big patch in second, what a difference. I refused to race him again. ::-): Back then he probably only had $100.00 in the whole setup. I think the 2 carb Corvair's are just starving for fuel. GM wanted an economy car but us kids had other ideas.
