I think they look good, but I have 16" wheels on my EM too.

I have a background in architecture and engineering, so the "form and function" thing resonates with me. Big wheels were needed to clear big brakes. When I see a lot of air around the brakes, I cringe. So, in my opinion, put bigger brakes on or ditch the wheels.
I have seen some low profile wheels where the wide white wall was part of the rim. Looked for all the world like a big squishy tire.

That's what I'm planning for my '63 as well. 16"

Btw, thanks for the feedback. The 18x7 fronts fit and look good to us, but the 20x9 rears are too big.
I agree that the 20's look too big. The fronts aren't bad.

I had 17"s all the way around on my 65 which I liked allot, but if I was to do it again I would go 18" rear and 17" front.

It's always tough making a wheel look good on a classic car. I think these are a bit much.

I' usually those kind of wheelset on a classic, thinking they are rough on such elegant car....but i' must recognize that this works pretty good on ur ride, and after all it's Just a matter of few minutes to change them if you feel bored...

Moving along. Yes, we added a Le Mans fuel filler. Only want positive feedback on that mod! :tu:
