Hi folks,
Things are wrapping up here. I put in the seat, and yes Jim, it is really low! It has been in the attic since 2015. I forgot the size. How well it aged. I put some mouse screens along the lower edges so they can't get under it where the top used to be stored.
I re-opened the Doggie Doors and put some weatherstripping along the back and bottom edges.
Now that the seat's in (I promise) the first test drive is imminent.
The list is smaller, but now both of the rear shocks are leaking after going up and down on the jacks.
I found a spare (shortened) speedo cable in the trunk, next to the spare axle and tools. Thanks, Dad.
Next item: Nice road tires and wheels.

Hi Folks,
It DRIVES! First test drive complete. That thing HONKS! Never got out of second gear on my property road (short). Must be those 29-inch rear tires.
Long brake pedal, just got done adjusting them. One brake fitting damp, tightened it. Time for another test drive!
