10,000 miles in 9 months in a turbo corvair

Post by freedo »

i did a write up(lots of pictures) on driving my corvair 10,000 miles in 9 months. the engine has been dead nuts reliable with redline shifts every gear. the engine has never left me stranded and the only time it needed to be towed was when the rr wheel bearing disinegrated. this is a car that i have no trouble jumping into in the morning and driving 2hrs + anywhere.

yeah I've herd that corvair lsd's aren't very heavy duty, but i think you can add more clutch plates in it to get it to hold up better
