Corona Virus? Convention week is July 6th- 11th. We're hoping COVID-19 will be a distant memory by then, but if we're forced to cancel this event due to the virus, we will announce it here and gladly refund your registration fees. You would need to cancel your hotel reservations separately. But at this time, we plan on the convention occurring, and we are working closely with the host hotel and the city of San Diego to keep up with the situation.

2020 CORSA CONVENTION CANCELLED
YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE!

On April 3, we were informed that San Diego County rented all the rooms at the Crowne Plaza for homeless people who either have COVID-19 or at risk of getting it. So, it looks like the county has made our decision for us with regard to proceeding with the 2020 convention. It is now cancelled.

The following are instructions for those of you who have already registered. Basically, there are two things that need attention:

1. Your 2020 Convention Registration with CORSA. Convention Coordinator Harry Jensen is cancelling all the registrations made so far. If you paid the registration fee, we will refund it. So, you should not need to do anything with regard to your 2020 Convention Registration with CORSA.

2. Your reservation with the Crown Plaza San Diego hotel. As of the morning of April 3, rumor had it that the folks at the Crowne Plaza have already cancelled all the room reservations associated with the CORSA convention, but it's too early to tell if that's really true. We'll keep tabs on this and post any update here. In the meantime, you have the option to contact the hotel directly if you can get through on their switchboard. You may have days or even weeks to take care of that. Typically, hotels don't charge anybody's credit card until after they've checked-out, but they require a few days advance warning. Otherwise they'll bill you.
