Anyone in SoCal know a machine shop who will bore jugs?

Everyone I called won't do corvair jugs?? What does it usually run to get them done? Is it cheaper to just buy them already done? (From Clark's,mikes, etc)

What part of SoCal are you in? I just had some jugs bored to .030 over and IIRC it cost about $125 for a set of 6. I think the key is having the right equipment, jig, etc. so that the bore doesn't get out of round.

Clark's Corvair Parts seems to average about $24 a barrel. There is a $30 refundable core charge mentioned, but I'm sure arrangements can be made to sip your existing barrels ahead of time. Plus shipping charges.
