Head swap
Re: Head swap
They will bolt right on . No difference in the crankcases.
You'll need the 140 exhaust manifolds .
The 140 distributor is has a different timing curve so you may want to get one or possibly try to re-curve the one you have.

Re: Head swap
A good Corvair-based performance book will help you a lot.
I am partial to the following book. The original version, How to Hotrod Corvairs, by Bill Fisher, was published in the late 1960s and I bought my copy as a teenager in about 1970. I learned a lot of technical details about the Corvair that stuck with me for decades. This version was just updated and released this year, and is quite informative for those new to Corvairs, and a valuable reference for those maintaining, tuning, and customizing the Corvair they already own and wish to improve.
The Amazon.com link has several reader feedback reviews from those who have already purchased this book.
