HD coil springs...
HD coil springs...
Hi all, I bought HD springs all around for my LM vert from Clarks. They lower the ride height, ok in the front but looking for higher ride height in the back.
Any of you bought HD springs from somewhere else that give the stock or a little bit higher ride height in the back?

B-vair - no actual experience with different springs from other places but if you just want to raise it a little you could use a few of the rubber H shaped spring spacers available at most auto parts stores. They work fine and don't cost much.
Myself - I'd lower the front

Thanks guys, never thought about those H spacers...good idea. And yeah it handles well now, just want a bit of that...nose down look...to my eyes it gives that "je ne sais quoi" to LMs.
Where's the nose down smiley?

I'm running HD 2 inch drop in the front, and new stock rears. I bought mine from Corvair Motorsports, no longer around. He told me he gets his from www.coilsprings.com I believe Clarks also gets them from the same place. They have all of the specs for Corvairs. I'm sure they could make whatever you wanted.

b-vair: How do you like the handling on your LM vert with HD springs from Clark's? I'm considering doing the same but share your concern with being nose-high. Did you find a solution to raising the rear? Thanks!
