Electric engine fans

hey guys, just googling around, and to me the 25hp loss sounds like it could very easily be an understatement as to how much power is actually lost Although not a direct comparison, here is a test of more traditional fans on an engine dyno. There 18 inch mechanical fan pulled 30hp from the engine, and i suspect a corvair fan moves MUCH more air than this, and thus parasites more power than what they were testing.
