1963 Spyder Engine Rebuild
1963 Spyder Engine Rebuild
I have gotten good info about my car so far and got info about someone to rebuild the cylinder heads. My engine will need a total rebuild though. The person I contacted will rebuild the heads, but not the rest. Are there any recommendations? I am not opposed to using my contact for the heads and shipping them to who would finish the rebuild or have it go to one place for the whole job. Thanks to all.

Where are you located?
Someone to do the rest may not be comfortable with whoever you may have doing the heads. Hard to say without knowing more. On the other hand you may have someone better than what I have around here.
A person assembling an engine needs to CC the heads and figure compression ratio after the head gasket surfaces and such are done.

That's a long ways from me out here in flyover country. I'm nothing special just a guy goofing around in his home garage. I'm casting about a bit for Machine Shop services as well. There must be better choices back east.
