Lowering
Ok Im happy because i scored a 65 coupe that runs. 1st thing i want to do is lower it. Now what are ways to do so? are there any type of coilovers or kits? Please do tell

Most people that lower their Corvairs do so by cutting 1-2 coils from the springs. I think that the heavy duty coil springs sold by Clark's will also lower your vehicle by about 1.5 inches.

I win...47" to the top of the roof.
Of course I don't drive it...it's a racecar.
Rear suspension is solid...front is bottomed out.

Is it single stage or base clear.

Cut two coils up front, one in the back.

I checked out your thread on how you accomplished that. Knowing what you do know would you do it all the same again, or cut less out of the front? Were they HD coils that you started with?Motornoggin wrote:
