Ignition Switch removal
I know some of the switches must be in ACC position before one can remove , but I have early Vair with no ACC . What position must lock cyl be in so that the hole lines up with the push pin ?

Little hole in lock has a plunger in it. Insert a Heavy paper clip to push spring loaded plunger in and turn switch to left past last position (lock on an early model). I think you start in run but the plunger will not be there or depress if the switch is in the wrong position to start with. Once the lock cylinder is out you can use a bezel tool to remove the bezel and switch.
