clutch cable assembly near pedal on EM

Post by jdflight »

Hey everyone

I am in need of little help. I pulled my clutch cable pulley off when I was pulling the master cylinder and I am trying to remember how it goes back on with the metal plate that was with it. I have looked in assembly manual and the shop manual and it does not seem to give directions. If you have the information or could take a picture would appreciate it.

Check out the diagram on page 112 of Clark's catalog might give you a good idea as it shows the pulleys.

the metal plate will only go one way round as there is a little tongue that locates into a hole drilled in the actual bracket

the other tongues are the guides to stop the cable escaping.

I took the pedal box out of mine last night and dropped the bracket, and spent the next five minutes looking at it confused!
