I have seen a range of oil weight used for Corvairs. I just picked mine up Sunday and the guy I bought it from was using Full Synthetic Motorcycle 20w50. I have not found that weight recommended anywhere, and I don't have the repair manual for the car, so I thought I would just ask those more knowledgable on here. What weight oil should I be using in my 1963 Corvair Monza 900? I am in southern Indiana where we have hot summers and fairly cold winters at times. I know climate locations makes a difference in the weight.
Thanks.
