How difficult is it to replace the 1/4" steel brake line from the front to rear? Plan to use the pre-bent line from Clark's. I'm guessing heater duct and tunnel cover...... Is it possible without power unit removal?

That was a good set of tips that were posted on the other forum. It was interesting to read the comments of other Corvair owners who had actually gone through the process of replacing all of their steel brake lines. I was planning on doing that on my 1966 Corsa convertible, but I really didn't know what I was getting into. The one thing that they did not mention, that I had heard was a necessity, was removal of the gas tank to replace one of the brake lines in the front. I am not certain about that requirement, because I have not done it yet. But removal of the gas tank — if it is necessary — may be one of the more difficult tasks in the overall process of replacing the steel brake lines.

I was in the process of rebuilding the front end, including the tank, so I already replaced the front lines. You will need to remove the tank. Not too bad!
