Yeah I'm going to wait. I have to tell you that being in the industry, I completely understand when things like this happen it's just aggravating because it seems like it always happens to me. For instance, I put a transmission in my 03 avalanche from a very reputable high performance transmission builder, when I was done something seemed off with the shifter. The next day I woke up and the truck was in my backyard. Apparently one of their guys didn't tighten the selector arm inside the unit. After a bunch of "sir we're not saying you did anything wrong, but it is impossible it's a problem from within the unit" I took the pan down myself and found the loose nut. The never made it right. How could they? They were just happy that my truck didn't kill anyone.bbodie52 wrote: It is frustrating when human error creeps in to your plans, but Clark's has been doing a good job at supporting Corvair owners since the early 1970s and errors like this are pretty uncommon. There is a lot of work involved with your clutch replacement. I would suggest giving Clark's a little time to make things right. Then you can complete your work and it will be done right.
Please keep us updated and let us know how Clark's responds to try to make this right!
And yes, I'm a mechanic, but I don't mess with automatic transmission internals. May as well be magic happening inside those. Lol
