That would be the bellows and control rod which opens and closes the cooling damper on the left and right side of the engine. Yes, I would say you need 2 of those...

You need the bellows units times 2....you will not need the choke coil as it is used with regular carbs not the turbo side draft. I am not sure what the little item in the middle is.

The item in the middle is the swivel that screws onto the control rod and connects to the damper door. The clip at the end of the rod holds it in place.

That item in the middle is not the swivel for the damper door rod. It is not shaped properly, look closely at the double step on the narrow end

The item on the far left is a 62-69 choke coil for a non turbocharged engine. They are riveted to the head down by the exhaust manifold just under the lower rail of the valve cover.

The middle item looks like a valve stem cap.

You do if want to use the heater, if you don't use them you had better take the damper doors off. They should blow open but if they don't you don't want the engine to overheat. :dontknow:

Depends on where you are in Sweden and whether you need good defrosters on cool or cold days, and whether you operate the car in freezing temperatures. If you need such things as heat /defrosters then having the thermostat doors that control the airflow to the engine to let it warm up area good idea. If where you are it gets sub freezing and you operate the car at these times it is possible that the engine might not warm to normal operating temperature in these conditions which is bad for the engine.

That "bellows" is a thermostat to control the air door (one on each side) and engine temperature. A lot of folks, especially in warm climates, just leave the doors open. An engine will last longer if it comes up to normal temperature as soon as possible after a start. As I like to remind folks, GM would not have spent the money to install them if they were not important.
