hey so just bought my first corvair it needs a starter and i dont know where it goes help please

Welcome. The starter is located behind the left rear wheel above the left axle. It mounts on the front of the differential rear flange.
Corvair guy since 1982. I have personally restored at least 20 Vairs, many of them restored ground up.
Currently working full time repairing Corvairs and restoring old cars.
