Putting letters back on after paint( Blade type loose)

Post by indianalakewood1961 »

I just had my 64 painted and am putting it back together and the letters on the rear deck lid are the blade type and there really loose, when I removed them they were tight in there. Should I use glue? any suggestions would be appreciated..

Thanks
James

These are usually anything but loose. Perhaps you need to install new metal retaining clips in the holes before inserting the letters. They are listed by Clark's Corvair Parts C721A at $12.95 a set of 13.
