got my wheels and tires mounted!
got my wheels and tires mounted the other day. they came out awesome. but now i definatley think the front needs to be lowered. i put two 70 pound sand bags in the trunk before taking these pics. i like the ride height. what do you guys think of it? looks like it would amount to maybe one coill being cut out??

Re: got my wheels and tires mounted!
What are those? Late 70's or early 80's era Camaro wheels?
Are they 15 inch? If so are they 15X7 or 15X8? What is the back space? What tire size did you use?
Are you happy with the results or would you change something? They do look really nice.
I am thinking of 15's on my '65. Thanks
P.S.
The stance looks great!

Re: got my wheels and tires mounted!
thanks everybody!
the wheels are early 70s Z28 camaro wheels, i havnt seen them on a corvair more than maybe 2 or 3 times. theyre 15x7 but not sure what the backspace is. the tires are BFGoodrich G-force sports. 215/50/15 in the front and 225/50/15 in the back. these tires were kind of expensive but well worth it in my opinion. not rubbing or any other problems. im very happy with the results and wouldnt change a thing.

Nice wheels & tires ... and the stance looks good too. Now to figure out how much of the coils to cut. 1 coil?
But either way it sure looks good.
