Re: 65 Corsa by barrist
Anyone know of a cure for " The while I'm There " BUG ?
Brakes and Shocks...........that's what I said.
Then started looking at the Clark's website...........
Well, guess I'll Upgrade to the Dual M/C (and New Lines of course)
New Brake Lines, guess I'll add the Gas Line ( it's right here on the page )
Humm, might as well buy those rear coil springs.
A couple of lifters, ticking. Add a set of those.
Might as well Do the Blower bearing.
Lets see, the insulation kit would Look Good.............
Carpet has a Loooong Cut, might as well.
Those Floor mats would match the new carpet..........
At Least the Wife got the checkbook out of my hand............
Now, sit and wait for the UPS Guy. Guess My Spring is Planned........................

Re: 65 Corsa by barrist
Latest Find, (Craig's List)
I Think I've found the solution to the "Time or Money" Problem..........
If I find it, and can swing it at the time, I Buy It. I'll worry about installing it when the Lean times roll BACK around.
Can anyone confirm that the Hub extension should be the same color as the column ?

Re: 65 Corsa by barrist
Well, still to Cold to get much Done.
Started with the Blower Bearing..........Looks like that will Help some of the Leaks.
Bearing in, Clean-up done, too cold to paint.
So start on the insulation, and it's fitting well.
Where is Spring ?

Also got the rear motor mount in.
Started adding the new studs...........
Left Front Done. New drums standing by.
Same for the Left Rear.
I May shorten these studs a bit (3/8 of an inch, I don't want to pop the acorns.
More Later.

Re: 65 Corsa by barrist
OK, looks like 3/8" will do it.
Yep, that worked just fine.
And the new drums from Rock Auto, get a squirt of paint. ( I was really surprised, they have the knock-out for brake adjustment )
Maybe I'll get a little "garage time" tomorrow.

L/R Done, One at a time, due to Garage Space Constraints. ( Wife doesn't like her car "Out" overnight)
The "plumbers strap" on the muffler will be replaced on the NEXT Clark's Order.
