Progress is still slow, I managed to get some glass back in, that was fun, done a little dash work and wiring, sound insulation on floor...still plenty to do

But you have come so far! Most of us would have given up long ago. Progress may be slow but you are doing a great job!

Dam it! I was hoping for another member:P

Yes the GT is nice! Arrived from NY of all places (rust gamble) but at least this was undercoated when new and not after a lot of dodgy rust bodging!

Where about in the UK are you?

I live in Stockton on tees, my other toy is a ratty looking Maverick, which everyone seems to want to buy for some reason, I may let it go and try something British with a bit of wood and leather inside ...and not such a thirst

Here is a way to combine your desire to have a Studebaker and an Air Cooled Rear Engine car at the same time. I saw this at the Studebaker Museum when I was in the Shipshewana Indiana area a few years ago It is a 1959 Studebaker Lark Prototype with what appears to be a VW engine in the "Trunk".
Also there was a Prototype shell for an Avanti 4 Door and a futuristic concept car (1965 Studebaker / Packard Astral)
