As I cruise around the forum, I looked over your pic. What a nice project you under taken as other have. I too love that wagon. Really a proud piece of work. I will try to take photo as I progress getting in the swing again. It all started for me with my dad when I was 17 now 57 and I saved eico headers and transaxles carbs parts all these years. It must of been tuff finding parts for the wagon. I have now the van and pu with 4 1965's . three are for two projects and the one that is wrecked , I want to save the rear half of that car. The rambler is cool, you dont see them at all. The pic show some neat other rigs to that I have never seen, George

Thanks, the project is running for a year now, and many years to come i think hahaha most of the wagon parts are the same als the "normal 61 corvair" like al the mechanical things, the windows and trims are different and harder to get or you pay a lot of $$$$$$. and like a front windshield is diffecult to ship and cost a fortune for me :-(

I like projects, so keep those photo's posted !!!

And the rambler is from a freind of mine, it is a european build rambler. it is assembled in the renault factory so thats why this is a renault rambler classic 550 , drives great but need for the year 2012 some sheet metal work.

thanks and i'll postm ore pictures when i have more, first i eed to fix my workshop, it is a little flooded because of a leaky water connection :-( after that we are up and running again.

today we did some welding, al the spot weldings were nicely weld rondom (i dont now the name, straight weld??)
325.jpg
326.jpg
time to sandblast all of it and off to the powdercoater

And i cleaned out one carb and looked what it needs to build it all up, like the carb job :-)

Dirty VS Clean
327.jpg
Good parts to use, other parts need to be replaced
328.jpg
so one more carb to go and we can order parts and build it up again, Stay Tuned Ralf

its the parts for the suspension front,

2 metal plates are spot welded from the factory,

we sandblast the 2 plates and did full weldings on the site to make it stronger and atached it better to each other.

hopefully its clear now what we have done.

The Hollandranch send 1 or 2 container a week to the netherlands here are some pictures how the do it, they don't load the container full, mostly 2 cars and in the trunk of that the boxes and parts, so there transport goes well and no damage. works well, and all by all cheaper :-)

it is about 3 weeks from harbour tot harbour and than with the customs and things about 4 weeks, but i'm in no rush, and christmas comes all year arround hahahahaha

thats the way we get the parts to europe/ netherlands :tu:

sow somewhere in the warehouse are laying my other parts - boxes and stuff

for more pictures of Hans & Bianca @ the hollandranch check the photobucket
