Re: Corvair Lakewood 61 - NL
When my Lakewood is done (somewhere in 2048 hahaha) after that i can help
Need to order 2 bolts, after that it is axle time, building it up, everything is ready.
New axle, new bearings, new joints, nuts and bolts. All other parts cleaned and painted.
Hope i got the littel parts quick at home.
For now ready to instal are the diff parts and PG parts and axle parts. The drivetrain is almost ready read.

Litle progres on the Lakewood, rear suspension bushings done.
And turn the Lakewood around to start working on the drivetrain and rear suspension.
Last weeks i didn't do nothing, because since 3,5 weeks i'm a father of a little girl
Hopefully soon i'm back in the workshop, to show her what i'm all doing hahaha

The crappy thing is that any place in the past you ever posted photos from photobucket are likely to no longer be viewable. That is what imageshack did when it became a pay service.

Some of the pictures I post are hosted on my Facebook page. You can also upload pictures directly from your PC as attachments on the Corvair Forum. In that way you avoid any third party hosting by storing the photographs you wish to share directly in the Corvair Forum server. The attachment photographs you upload can then be embedded within the text at any location you choose.

Loads of tiny bags to sort out, making plans what to do next (enough to do) and hopefully family life will let me move on with the project now and then

Re: Corvair Lakewood 61 - NL
SO i finaly got some good progres, you remember the pictures of all the suspension parts laying on the floor, well all of the rear suspension is done! I'm happy the way it looks. all fits well. i forgot to make pictures of the build up, but here are some pictures of the result.
Also i instal the mountingbrackets for the drivetrain, all brand new!
And i bought myself a early christmas present (or as we here celebrate on the 5 december, SINTERKLAAS)
Stay tuned morre to come, in hopefully a faster pace!

When you finish Her, dont be afraid to drive Her. Thats what She was built for! Nothing worse then a Beautiful car sitting in a garage under a cover because the owner is afraid to take Her out & drive Her!
